Sandie, it does work for the great majority. However there are some rules
that must be obeyed, like you must stay within region when upgrading US 2000
- quote -

Hi Kathy, I also had that problem, tried to transfer info
from Money 2000 to my new computer with Money 2003
installed, it doesn't work, it will not transfer, its a
fault in the program perhaps, I had to start all over
with 2003, very dismayed.

Describe "tried using the backup disk" in more detail. Describe "did it
wrong, or ???" in more detail. You might also let us know what version of
Money you are coming from and going to. You might also tell us why you think
the new machine would have a clue: i.e., does it even have the Money
application installed?
