Average basis across all accounts, as far as I have gleaned.

Default Cost Basis

Can someone tell me why I cannot choose the "Actual Cost Basis" method of
calculating cost basis if I use the Canadian settings? Does this have
something to do with the structure of Canadian mutual funds or something?
Furthermore, given that I don't get to choose the method Money uses to
calcuate cost basis, what is the default method used with Canadian settings
and how does it work?

I am looking at my investment account, and I cannot figure out where Money
is getting its numbers if my life depended on it! Thanks.
