I would establish an initial hypothetical price of perhaps $100. Then I would consider accounting for gain periods with a Dividend, and I would adjust the price downward to reflect losses. Money going in or coming out would be entered with the current "price", allowing Money to calculate the number of shares. There is not a single preferred way to handle this kind of thing. |
