Money 2k4 won't download quotes

I don't think the problem is unique to Money 2004, I'm using 2003 and
updates have been hit or miss since I got back from vacation on January
17th.

I'm getting no error message, the time changes indicating when last updated
but nothing is updated. The time that it takes to supposedly update is only
a fraction of what it takes to do an actual update.

I have also noticed if checking for a new symbol I get an error saying that
it can't connect to the server.

I am also having a similar problem. I'm running
Money2000. The connection is being made, but not quotes
are updated. I then receive a Windows illegal operation
error and then Money 2000 closes.

I am having the same problem, have you found a solution.
I have tried to look in the Money support center, no
luck. I was better off not upgrading from Money2k1 to
2k4.

I suggest you run netstat before and right after starting quote
download. I think it investor.com.

This isn't a problem with my local connection - I'm
getting my banking data and have full network
connectivity otherwise, and I'm not running a firewall on
this machine (although I need to).

Are there any settings which allow the quote server to be
specified? Does anyone know what the dns name for the
quote server is?
