| I'm not sure exactly what means it is you are referring to since the thread you are replying to apparently wasn't a recent one. Are you referring to the stuff in http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=129? You have M04 on Win98? Please provide some more hints on what "not displaying" means in your case. The help window doesn't even pop up? You get the "unable to load topic" messages? | Yes, I have this problem and I can't get it fixed on my HP Pavilion running Win ME. I tried all the suggestions posted in this newsgroup and in KB articles and also I had escalated phone support from Microsoft, all to no avail. The only suggestion I didn't do was to upgrade to WIn XP, mainly because of the age of my computer, the need for a bios upgrade, drivers for every peripheral and various programs to be reinstalled, etc. It was just more trouble than it was worth to get access to help files. Follow the suggestion about deleting temp internet files given you in another message; it works for some people and maybe it will solve your problem. | I wrote a new FAQ last weekend that should be posted shortly: --- Q): Money Help keeps whining about script errors or similar nonsense. Why? What can I do about it? A): Nobody really knows what causes this. For most people, this issue has been resolved by going into IE Internet Options (from IE Tools or from the desktop Internet Options or from the Internet Options control panel) and deleting all temporary internet files. Go figure. "davidJ" <anonymous[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:52d701c3e544$5cad3d60$a101280a[at]phx.gbl... - quote - > Has anyone who has loaded 2004 seen this anomoly. | Has anyone who has loaded 2004 seen this anomoly. The help guide comes up on the right of the screen, but when I click on topic, I get nothing. I can search for a topic, and the topic appear, but when I click on what I want to review, I get a "unable to load topic". |
