Default Re: Using OFX with NetBank

Yes, I'm having the exact same problem. I've reported it to NetBank
customer service and have called every couple weeks for the past month
to check the status and they just keep telling me they're working on
it. I opened this account a month ago so they aren't off to a good
start. In the mean time I've been downloading manually and with MS
Money open it autoloads the transactions. Definitely better than
manual entry, but still a pain.

I also sent in my signature card long ago but they still say they dont
have it.

I also ordered deposit envelopes from their website but haven't
received them after a couple weeks.

I'm ready to leave them yet, but they are definitely not impressing me
a whole lot so far.

I, on the other hand, have had a decent experience with Netbank. I do not
have any of their CD products, though. With their checking account, I have
been using OFX for the past couple of years with success - the only problem
being the "account holds" coming into my account register.

They are moving to a new banking platform in Q1 that is 'supposed' to work
well with money and later this year they are expecting to offer billpay via
Money (Quicken billpay will be enabled prior, I believe).

And as far as customer service and technical questions - while it would be
nice to expect the frontline customer service agents to know all the
ins-and-outs of software compatibility and etc., I think it's a bit
unrealistic.

I have had huge issues with Netbank.
They told me that I could not connec to NetBank CDs with Money.
The odd thing is I did before my username and password were reset.

NetBank has informed me that they do have OFX connections to checking
and MM accounts.

Of course 3 other customer service reps told me it could be done but
there was a flaw in Money. I told them I had an old copy of Quicken and
I couldn't login either. Then they told me Quicken was a poorly written
piece of software too. I was instructed to contact either Intuit or
Microsoft and get help from them.

As a side note, I personally have had the worst experience banking with
NetBank. I have been or currently am a customer of NetBank, BankOne,
American Express, FirstMerit, CitiBank, HSBC, MNBA and Jefferies. While
no one is perfect the lack of expertise and customer care demonstrated
by most of the NetBank employees I spoke with was horrible. To be fair,
I would like to note that a customer service rep did email me to
apologize for the numerous mistakes and did offer to refund my IRA fees.

I retract my "wonder if they really have direct connect for OFX". I
still suggest you call their customer service.

Are you talking about http://www.netbank.com/ ? Despite
http://www.microsoft.com/money/onlin...t.asp?FIList=5 I wonder
if they really have direct connect for OFX. In any case, I would
contact customer service.

Default Using OFX with NetBank

I am trying to use NetBank and connect using OFX. Money
keeps telling me my Username and password are incorrect,
but they are they exact same I use on the website. Has
anyone had this problem and been able to correct it. I
was told it might be a problem with my password being too
long, but it is 8 characters which should be fine.
