I didn't actually write a review -- I just observed the way the two products
work. They're truly quite similar, so I can't think of a reason not to get
04 instead of 03 -- in any event, 03 would not convert my file, so as far as
I'm concerned that's the best reason for me to take 04!

From my review, the advantages of 04 over 03 exceed the disadvantages.

Richard,

I missed your review...is there a link to it on your web page by
chance?

Thanks,

Because, except for my house here and loose change, what few assets I
have are in US$ accounts in USA. Further 100% of my income is subject to
US Tax which, in addition to UK tax.

I'll probably get a UK copy also ... and then probably have to fight
with the problem of two different versions of Money but we'll cross tha
bridge when it happens. I don't really need a UK version.

I would suggest against buying 2004. Unless you really just want it, I
don't see many new features or enhancements to make it worth the price...

This will work--or at least it has worked with all other trial versions of
Money. I've not yet done this cycle on M04. You may have to uninstall M04
Trial before installing M04 retail.

I'm currently using the 2003 Trial Version until I travel to USA
(planned for next month) to buy the US Version of 2004. I'm a longtime
Quicken user and I've had enough. I decided I like Money better.

Frankly, I'm happy to buy the online version of 2003 direct from the
menus on this trial version (as the dialog box keep nagging me about),
but I find that *impossible* since I am a UK resident. The web forms
prevent it. Sigh. So much for Microsoft being a globalized company.

I am pretty sure that my 60 day evaluation period will expire after I
safely have my upgraded copy of 2004.

However ... anyone know if it would work to just "upgrade" to the 2004
trial version as a stop-gap until I can procure the full product?

It's interesting to note that the M04 trial version download is smaller
(18.7 MB) than the M03 trial (20.0 MB) which was smaller than the M02 trial
(23.8 MB). What's it all mean?
