Default Re: Error between account list balances and actual account register

Have you tried both available repair methods or just salv.exe? See
http://www.bollar.org/msmoney/#Q104.

Default Error between account list balances and actual account register

Tony,

If you happen to get an answer can you post the solution?
I have a very similar problem that started in Money 2003
but transferred over to Money 2004. The balances in the
Account List and the Account Registers do not match the
balances in my Portfolios. The Portfolios appear to be
updating day-to-day, but for some reason it is not
reflected in the Account List. I too have tried Salvage
to no avail.

Thanks!

Robert

Default Error between account list balances and actual account register

Hi - I've raised this as a support call but I'm running
Money 2004 and my account balance on the account list
view is differenct than that on the account register
view.

Also in the account list is seems to show the last 3
transactions as being those that are listed in my bills
and deposits for the next 6 months. It looks like these
transaction have moved straight into my account but when
I view account register they are not there!

If I use the find option I can find these transactions -
I can move them to other accounts and still cannot see
them but they always affect the account balance on the
account list screen!

Also when I use the find option or view the transaction
in the catagories view the date, amount and account are
greyed out. I'm unable to delete these transactions
either.

I've tried the quick and standard repairs also.

Any help would be great,

Tony
