I have thought about it. If you have a single ATT Buy, I would
change that into two Buy transactions with the combined Totals equal
to the original Total allocated per the ATT website data. Date them
the same. Note the event in both Memo fields.

If you have more than one ATT Buy, return to my earlier suggestion.

Spinoff. However Standard does not handle spinoffs directly. I am
not sure how to best work around that. Perhaps delay entering the
data until you move to Deluxe some day.

See http://att.com/ir/ss/tbi/reorgbknd.html for some information.

Default How do you record a partial stock exchange

I am using MSMoney standard 2003 edition. Back in 2001
ATTstockholders were allowed to exchange a portion of their shares for
ATT Wireless shares. How do you record this type of transaction? A
spin off or merger converts all the shares. I only convert 100 out of
230 shares. Thanks for your help
