1. Wait *much* longer.

2. Not for most people.

See FAQ available at http://www.bollar.org/msmoney/ for information.

Many of us think archiving is not a good idea.

Default archiving

Hello,
I have money 2004 deluxe and trying to reduce the file size so I decided to
archive everything prior to January 1, 2003. I follow the prompts and when
the window appears that "money is archiving the transactions and this might
take several minutes" well, I wait and wait and nothing happens! Then the
"money not responding" message appears! What could I do to fix this and also
is archiving a good idea?
Thanks for any help.
