Note that this converter skips loan accounts. That seems like a rather
significant omission.

Of course, that wasn't what the OP was asking, but it might be a better
option depending on what he's really trying to do.

And that is, indeed, a VERY interesting tidbit. This is only the second time
Quicken has made converting from Money easier. I wonder why? Is Money
catching up? Is Money starting to poach a noticeable number of Quicken
users?

Depends on the version. For M03 -> Q04 there is a data conversion utility
that you can find on quicken.com It doesn't do everything, but is helpful if
you want to switch.
