This has to be a problem with the quotes provider that
Microsoft has contracted with.

For me, all of the other internet connectivity functions -
statements, ebill pay, help on the web from within Money.

Everyone should log cases with Microsoft about this issue
so that they will understand the magnitude of the loss of
service for their customers.

Yes, I haven't been able to download stock quotes since around
Christmas. I have read the newsgroup and tried many of the
suggestions but none have worked:

- salvage
- reinstall Money 2004
- turn off stock symbols, turning them back on individually, I only
received success when I turned off all symbols for download
- reduced the history of stock quotes stored in Money
- removed all Internet Explorer plugins
- turned off Norton Antivirus and Firewall


I even downloaded a packet sniffer to see if communication was
occuring between Money and the moneycentral site during downloading of
quotes (only, all other download functions were disabled). There
appeared to be back and forth communication, but still an error was
reported.

Am I alone with this problem? Does anyone know of a good solution to
get quotes downloading again? Thanks.

I have Money 2003 and although the reminder says
that "certain" functions will expire on Jan 30, I am
having trouble downloading online quotes since Jan 3 (!!).

In the interim, I upgraded it to trial version of
Money2004 and even then I am unable to update the quotes.

Does anyone else has the same problem?
