Default Re: mpweb.dll and keyhook.dll - Spyware in Money2004???

Very interesting...

Here's some info on it:
http://www.bitlogic.co.uk/keyhook.htm

Further searching shows that a modified keyhook.dll is installed by several
viruses and trojan horses.

These files could just be used to implement some features of the Money user
interface.

Much thanks Cal. I have Ad-Adware as well and it did not alert me either
but I was testing another program (Spy Killer 2003) and maybe it's just TOO
aggressive.

I have those files and have recently run Spybot and Ad-aware -- the
two most frequently recommended spyware programs. Neither alerted on
those DLLs.

keyhook.dll 77,888 bytes
mpweb.dll 73,791 bytes

Default mpweb.dll and keyhook.dll - Spyware in Money2004???

keyhook.dll
mpweb.dll

I ran a Spyware program and it listed these two dll's as key logger's and
that I should remove them. I did a search on Google and it confirmed that
Keyhook.dll (which is located in the Microsoft Money SYSTEM sub-directory
along with mpweb.dll) is a key logger.

I am asking for the expertise of the group to help me out here because I
don't know if these dll's are good or bad dll's for sure.

Thanks in advance for your help!
