| Thanks so much for all your help. I have been manually changing them and they don't seem to be catching on. I had read that other tip somewhere else, and while it didn't match exactly the same terms, I UNclicked *replace downloaded payee names with altered names when available*. We'll see what happens from here. Again, thanks for all your help. - quote - > -----Original Message----- > In microsoft.public.money, mtsusie wrote: > > Thanks for your assistance. That makes a difference. I was referring to Money 2003 and 2004.> Payee Names" anywhere??? I also looked in the knowledge > database and it told me to click on "Go to Payee Rules > Manager". Also I don't know if Tools-> Options-> Online Services-> ShowStandardizedPayeeNames is available to you in Money 2002. | Thanks for your assistance. I'm not seeing "Preferred Payee Names" anywhere??? I also looked in the knowledge database and it told me to click on "Go to Payee Rules Manager". Can't find that anywhere either. I have Money 2002. When I get down to payees it just has options for classifcations 1 & 2, and then under Common Tasks is *set up tax categories*. That's it. | I pretty much let my bank download transactions - the only thing that gets entered by *me* are the e-payments (because it does it automatically). Anyway, somehow every check card purchase I make at *Albertsons* shows up (downloaded from the bank) as *Public Utilities Department*. The amount is correct, but totally wrong payee name. How do I change this? Thanks Susie F |
