Default Re: 2004 problems

I am having the same problem... Money worked a few weeks
but now I get the error message. If you click on details
what errors are there? I get...

AppName: msmoney.exe AppVer: 12.0.0.613 ModName:
ofdutil.dll
ModVer: 12.0.0.613 Offset: 00031afb

AppName: msmoney.exe AppVer: 12.0.0.613 ModName:
mscofd.dll
ModVer: 12.0.0.613 Offset: 00010149

Sometimes I get one, and sometimes I get the other. I
found some knowledge base answers that didn't directly
relate to the exact problem, but they seemed to point to
some sort of problem within our data files. It may be a
monthly report, a bill with an error, a closed account
with an error, or some other type of scheduled account
problem.

Can you navigate within money behine the error message,
ie can you do anything by clicking on it after the
message pops up?

I'll try the option about the sample file...

Can you open any Money files? Browse to the folder that you installed Money
to and try to open the Sample.mny. If that one opens, there is a problem
with your file and will need to either restore from a backup or try to
repair your file:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;182608
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;274584

If the Sample file doesn't open either, try removing Money and reinstall it
to a new folder. This will not remove your data file.

Default 2004 problems

Ever since I turned on the background banking Money 2004
won't open. It starts, I get the first screen and then
it says that Money has encountered a problem and needs to
close. I have sent numerous error reports. I am getting
really frustrated here! I need to access my checkbook.
