But note that cope/paste to account does not work in all versions as it was
added in M02 (IIRC). The OP failed to cite the version in question.

Just add the entry at the bottom with the correct date, and it will
re-order by date if the register is in date-order.

That seems like a different question. If you right-click on an
existing check, you can choose CopyToAccount which will let you copy
a check to the same or different account. Then modify the date etc
on the copy if you don't want an actual duplicate. Usually it is
simpler to just enter the check independently.

Default Cut/paste a checkbook entry or go back and insert an entry

OK, so call me computer illiterate. I have had two
versions of MS Money which I use only for my checkbook. I
have yet to figure out how to go back and insert an
entry. In other words, how do you copy and paste in the
checkbook? I'm sure this is a simple thing, but it's
beyond me. Any help out there?
