Default Re: Resend: is it known issues

In Money 2004 you can create foreign investments with their associated
currencies which Money would then convert to US Dollars [or any default
currency] for summary and report purposes - although the transactions would
remain in the foreign currency. For example your Dubai investments would
remain in Dirhams and show in this currency.

I am not sure [don't remember] if Money 2000 had this facility.

Default Resend: is it known issues

I depend on Microsoft's Money 2000 for accounting
purposes and following up our investing activities, which
is our core operation. We just upgraded our Money 98 with
Money 2000 and we encountered the following problems:
1- We are unable to assign a Country to our investments
in the Middle East. Accordingly Money 2000 assumes all
investment in the Middle East are in the US and we have
to enter all the transactions related to that investment
in US dollar and not in the local currency.
2- Money 98 did not have a category for investments in
Real Estate, therefore we compromised by entering our
Real Estate investments under OTHER in the investment
category. Now with Money 2000 we are unable to assign
any of the RE investments under OTHER and all the RE
investments have been categorized under the BONDS
Category.

The ideal solution to me would be as follows:
1- To be able to add/assign a new country the same way
I'm abe to add a new currency!
2- To be able to enter the RE investments under OTHER
investments!
Looking forward to hearing from you.
