So, then it is upon installing you have a problem.

You might search the archives for newsgroup microsoft.public.money at
http://groups.google.com for keywords like install and 1723 and syspack. I
believe this has been discussed before, though I don't recall any specifics.

p.s., Have you tried installing it "manually by running SYSPACK.MSI from
your Money CD. Then retry Money 2004 Setup.exe."????

Here is what it says exactly;
Error 1723. There is a problem with the Windows Installer
Package. A DLL required for this installer to be complete
could not be run. Contact support and package vendor.

Then when I click OK, I get this;
Installation of the Money System Pack was not successful.
Please install it manually by running SYSPACK.MSI from
your Money CD. Then retry Money 2004 Setup.exe.

When installing or when trying to upgrade a data file? Does the sample file
open? Can you give us a hint what Error 1723 is? Is there some additional
error message?
