Previous policies on expiration of services were implicit. They have been
explicit since M03.

M02-> M04 should be no problem for same locale. (I.e., no M02 UK -> M04 US.)
Some people have had trouble with these upgrades starting with M03. Most
haven't.

I'm considering an upgrade from Money 2002 Std. to 2004
Deluxe in order to get the portfolio mgmt tools. When I
went to upgrade, I saw the followin notice on the
Microsoft site:

3 Online services valid two or three years from first use.
Online bill pay, downloading transactions from your
financial institution, downloading stock quotes, and the
ability to synchronize with MSN® Money Plus or MSN Money
expire two years from first use of Microsoft Money
Standard or September 1, 2006, whichever is earlier.
Online bill pay, downloading transactions from your
financial institution, downloading stock quotes, and the
ability to synchronize with MSN® Money Plus or MSN Money
expire three years from first use of Microsoft Money 2004
Premium or September 1, 2007, whichever is earlier.

I was surprised to learn that online services has an
expiration! Is there a similar policy for Money 2002 that
I'm not aware of? Are they any migration/compatibility
