Default Hello?! .NET Passport problem?

I'm having the same problem.
Do any of you have Norton Internet Security or a firewall?
I found that if I don't disable my firewall (like I really
want to) I get the error message when trying to sign into
Money 2003 with my net passport. As soon as I turn the
firewall off, it works.
I've searched through Norton to make sure everything has
access, but to no avail.
Just curious if maybe it's a Norton/Microsoft
incompatibility issue.

I have had the same problem for the last week or so but today the passport
sign-in seems to be working again. Give it a try.

Default Hello?! .NET Passport problem?

I have the exact same problem - as of 3 days ago. It
might just be coincidence, but I also installed Messenger
6.0 on the same day. If not coincidence, then we might
be experiencing something else similar.

Default Hello?! .NET Passport problem?

I've read some other posts about this problem, but I
haven't seen the answer, and I thought that if anyone in
the Microsoft Universe ever bothers to read the
newsgroups, they will hopefully see a recurring problem.
Money tells me that my .net sign-in was unsuccessful.
It's been this way for a week now. I've tried to change
my .net info. When I go to the .net website, the sign-in
works. When I try to tell Money to update my .net info
or change my .net info, it tells me that I need to enable
my browser to do cookies. But I have told my browser to
accept all cookies, and it still doesn't work. Plus,
cookies work on other sites. When I went to the .net
website, it tells me that the .net servers are all up and
working fine. Any ideas?
