Default Re: transferring money 99 files to money 2001

You will have to copy the file from CD to hard disk and make sure it's not
attributed to Read Only. Then it should open and upgrade.

Default transferring money 99 files to money 2001

Hello,

I just bought a new computer with XP and Money 2001.
Currently, all of my financial information is in my Money
99 files on my old computer.

I saved my money 99 files to a cd and tried to open them
in my new money 2001, and I received this message:

"Money cannot locate 'E:Msmoney' or cannot open it
possibly because it is a read-only file or your disk
drive is write protected. If you have chosen the correct
file and it cannot be accessed, you will need to open
your most recent backup file."

What does this mean? All that I want to do is transfer
all of my financial information from my old computer with
Money 99 to my new computer with XP and Money 2001. How
do I do this?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Murphy
