That's everyone's experience after posting a good email address to any
Usenet newsgroup with a wide propagation. There were a scad of threads about
the when the Swen (news backwards, get it?) worm was released. Search this
newsgroup at http://groups.google.com.

I've done that to no avail as each new message comes from a new address
and has a slight variation in the subject line. There doesn't seem to
be a rule - or even a bunch of rules - that can kill all the variations.

Is this what everyone experiences after posting here?

Default This News Server and Spam

Ever since posting a message to this board three weeks ago, I am
receiving 8 top 10 virus messages a day (the one that looks like it's
from Microsoft teilling me to update a critical patch) to my inbox. Is
there any way I can withdraw my previous message and/or get rid of these
incoming pests? Or do I just have to put up with it and let my
antivirus software deal with it?

Thanks.
