| Tax Estimator assumes you use the specialized Split called Paycheck, not just a regular split transaction. Read up on Paycheck in the online help and/or take a look at the sample data file. Google Usenet Groups archive. http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search enter words that you think would be in relevant posts into the "all of the words" box. Enter microsoft.public.money into the newsgroup box. Consider selecting Sort By Date. Here is a sample search: http://groups.google.com/groups?as_q...04&safe=images |

| Use the included HELP files inside money program. That's why the HELP is there. - quote - > -----Original Message----- > Two things... > 1) Can anyone recommend a good website that will give me depth into > Money 2003 standard edition. > 2) I have a reoccuring deposit setup. | Two things... 1) Can anyone recommend a good website that will give me depth into Money 2003 standard edition. 2) I have a reoccuring deposit setup. I put in the gross salary amount and assign it the income category of salary. (Some of my categories may be a bit messed up because I did an import from quicken.) I then subtract Social Security tax, fed, state, ny, NYC, and DBL tax. The entry will say Split/Multi and when I click on it all the correct information is there and displays my net income. Is this the best way to input in a paycheck? I ask because I'm having a hard time believing the tax estimator saying that I owe twice as much in tax as I've already paid. |
