Thanks, Cal I had not performed the task because I wanted to more or less know what I was doing before getting into it. I was basing my assumptions on Quicken. On performing the job on a small dry run account I found that Money was much more sophisticated than Quicken. Quicken just dumps the data for three months on you without any option of what you want to download. To straighten this out takes hours. Money 04 gave the the option of the date to start accepting the data. Thanks. Bill Saxon |

That will delete those transactions, and Money will not ask for them again. Alternatively, you can sort registers by entry order. This would put the newly loaded transactions together where you could void/delete the ones you choose to do. Keep an extra copy of your file while doing these things in case you don't like the result. |

| I have converted to Money from Quicken. When I download my data from Banks and Brokers, if Money is like Quicken in this respect, it will be a nightmare. The data download will probably be for six months and be dumped on top of the data (several years) that is already in the account. In Quicken this results in hundreds of "Matches" and "News" that I usually manage to somehow screw up. Can anyone give me a step by step of how to do this in Money? I can't find anything in Help that covers this problem. Thanks, Bill Saxon |
