Default Re: Final Balance Changes After Reconciliation

I am having the exact same problem. Money 2004 shows the
proper Ending Balance if I have the view set to, "All
Transactions covering All Dates..."...However, if I change
it to "Unreconciled Transactions covering All Dates..."
the Ending Balance increases and is now incorrect. This
incorrect number is also what Money uses in the Account
Summary and Portfolio...For those of us who already have
the problem is there a remedy? There is no reason why the
Ending Balance should change just from filtering your
account history. Thanks!

A common cause of this is to allow downloaded transactions to match to
transactions that you've already marked as reconciled. You may want to
limit the matching window until Tools, Options, Online Services, or just be
sure to watch carefully to make sure that transactions aren't matched
incorrectly.

Default Final Balance Changes After Reconciliation

Since I started downloading transactions from my bank,
I've discovered that somehow the final balance from the
previous month which I entered when balancing
(reconciling) the account has changed. As a result, each
month I have a large "adjustment".

Does anyone have any idea what's going on??
