Money wants you to pay off any debt in your file before applying money to
your savings goals.

Default Savings goal

I am using Microsoft money 2002 OEM and set up my accounts just a few
days ago. i downloaded my transactions from my bank beginning the
16th of June. i get 1st and 15th of every month. all of my paychecks
have cleared Money. i set up a budget and it says i have $200 dollars
left over each month, so i decided to set up a savings goal. i want
to buy a new washer and dryer for 800 buxks by the end of November of
this year. it says my savings goal is unreachable and that the
maximum amount i can save will be $0.00 by 11/30/03. and that i need
to adjust my savings goal. how can that be possible if i am going to
have $200 dollars left over every month? thanx in advance...spence
