Default Re: Catagory: Credit Card Payment or Transfer ?

They both do the same thing in the registers. Credit Card Payment was added
for people who couldn't get over the notion of Transfer and insisted they
were making a Credit Card Payment and not a Transfer. It has the net effect
of delaying the point at which these same users understand that it really as
a Transfer and why that is. For this reason, I recommend the more normative
Transfer.

However, the goofball requirements of the Scheduled Bills dialog box will
force some differences scheduling them that the registers do not force. Try
scheduling Bill --> Category: Credit Card Payment : <account name> with no
Payee. You can enter transactions in the register like this all day long,
but you can't schedule them. Alternatively, you do not have to have a Payee
to schedule the Transfer --> Category: Transfer : <account name> .

New Bill --> Catagory: Credit Card Payment : <account nameor
New Transfer --> Catagory: Transfer : <account nameor
Do these both do the same thing?
