back up to hard drive and then "copy" to where you want
the back up to exist.
copy places:
d drive....
floppy drive.....
cd rom.....
usb plug in drive.....

we're done here.

when you exit money you get only one option to
backup...the hard drive.
try file > backup > popup has 2 options....hard drive and
floppy disk drive.
-------------- the "only" solution to back up problem.....
back up to "hard drive"....copy to "cd rom" drive.
done......

No, No, 1,000 times No. Money does not know how to back up to CD without
outside assistance making a CD pretend to be something it isn't. Repeat
after me…

I have the same problem, Bob, but the only option I get in the dropdown
list is to backup to my A drive floppy. Is it a glitch? Thanks.

read other money backup posts on this newsgroup.
1-backup to the hard drive.
2-copy back file to the cd drive.

If you are running XP then the CD drive that XP thinks of as a hard disk
should appear in the drop down list. If using earlier versions of the OS
then you need to do the dump to hard disk > burn the CD ROM shuffle!

Default Money Backup

Is there a way to add the d drive to the options for the
bi-monthly floppy drive back-up? Currently I have to go
to extra steps to backup to the cdrom. Would be alot
more convenient if the cdrom was an option. Thanks for
your help.
