Change the range for matching to 1 day. That seems to fix it unless there are 2 similar (by their matching algorithm) on the same day. Their algorithm clearly sucks since I had it "match" two transactions that were to different payees, for different amounts, and 3 days apart. When I called them last year, they said they were aware of the issue. Apparently it's not fixed for 2004. |

| Hi. I've shot myself in the foot a couple of times by accepting downloaded transactions that Money marked as probable matches. Only they weren't matches, and in one case, it tried to match (and altered the amount of!!) a reconciled transaction. How do I either (1) tell money not to match against reconciled transactions (2) not to match transactions with different values, (3) both ?? thanks! -alan |
