First of all, I'd recommend you read up on Classification. I'd set
classification1 to something like Class and create Class:Subclass of Rental
Property:[name of property] for each one. This way you can call a rent
received transaction something like category Other Income:Rent Received,
class Rental Property:123 Elm Circle. I don't think you create separate
accounts, except maybe an asset account. This has been discussed before, you
might want to search the archives for this newsgroup at
http://groups.google.com.

Default Adding Real Estate Assets

I'm wondering where I would add income properties
(whether rentals or properties I've sold) in Money. If
it's rental income that I have coming in (not to mention
the rental's expenses such as cleaning), how do I set up
such an account?

My goal is tracking how much I spend on each property, as
well as the income derived from such.
