It it's the setting I think, you'd need to go to tools-> options-> online
services and uncheck the option
'overwrite transaction dates with dates from downloaded transactions'

But that means you are out of synch with your Bank and in the end it is what
the Bank says that matters i.e. as far as the Bank is concerned your account
is debited on the date they say it is not the date you wrote the check.

Default Keep manually entered date

In Money 2004, when I download transactions from my bank
and accept a match with a transaction I entered manually,
the transaction is entered into the register with the
downloaded date, not the date I entered manually. How do I
keep the manually entered date when accepting matched
transactions? I could do this with Money 2000 before I
upgraded. (In other words, I want to leave the checks
entered manually in the register in the order I wrote them
with the date I wrote them, not the date they cleared the
bank).
