| 2003 -- must admit the Money software was conveniently located near The Hulk videogame software and I've spent much more time with the little green man ![]() Just as frustrating as trying to beat the clock establishing secret entry codes is trying to just delete all my MSN Money info and start over. When I do this, the duplicate accounts go away, but the original ones remain and I can't get rid of them. I may wind up creating a new Passport altogether but am not sure how this will effect the MSN Billpay portion of my Passport. I'm not clear on how to apply the year of Billpay that came with Money 2004 to my exisiting account...? | Got it, installed it, can't tell the difference between it and 2003 -- had to check Help/About to make sure. Tried to use the Experian credit service, dropped me at a screen saying I had to mail copies of statements to confirm my identity, so not sure how that works. MSN/Passport burped a bit, all my accounts were duplicated and I receive an error of 'there are no accounts able to be deleted" when I try to fix it. | I saw Money 2004 at the local CompUSA (they had it stocked in a cardboard display). On the Delxue package, they had a picture of the new "Credit Center". From what I saw, it could display your credit score (probably obtained thru the credit report from Experian). Also, there was a "mini debt reduction planner" which could quickly estimate how long it will take to payoff credit card balances. Other than that, nothing else stood out. I too will be waiting to see if it goes on sale elsewhere. Last year I bought Money Deluxe at Sam's Club for around $16 after rebates. I'll also have to wait because Wachovia Bank here in Virginia is completing the merger with First Union on July 28. They have instructed online banking users not to upgrade to Money 2004 (or Quicken 2004) until the online banking system is updated on the 28th. JB Richmond, VA |

| Just was at CompUSA and saw that they now have Money 2004 (alongside Money 2003). How wierd that no announcement from Microsoft came with this. Anyway, looked inside the front cover, and didn't see a whole lot that was different. Main screen is pretty much the same, with a few differences. Hopefully, it is faster and has bug fixes in it! (HA!) Didn't get a copy because I am waiting (1) For Sunday, to see if anyone has it on sale, and (2) Maybe someone will get it and report on how well it performs! Tom |
