If I understand you correctly, you enter the data twice: once into
the BofA web site, and again into Quicken. You then download
transactions and expect the downloaded transactions to be matched
against what you entered. Money certainly works that way too.

You can still do your online payment transactions through Bank of
America's web site. Then download etc.

There have been some download problems discussed in the past, but
they may be fixed. This will get some previous discussions:

Default Money 2004 -- Online Banking w/ Bank of America

I've looked several times at converting from Quicken to MS Money, but
I keep running into the same roadblock. I do all my online payment
transactions through Bank of America's web site. Their system works
great and there are no fees or early debits against my account, like
there is w/ Checkfree. Quicken allows me to enter these online
transactions within Quicken, and seamlessly transfers the data to B of
A whenever I do an automatic update.

From what I can gather, MS Money will allow me to download statement
data, but forces me to use its checkfree or msn billpay. Is this
correct or can I use Money and still have money pay my electronic
bills paid using the Bank of America system?

Thanks
Ken Goodman
