I can not start Money 2004 deluxe after installation

Thanks for your tips.

I can open the sample.mny. It runs OK. But now I am facing another weird
problem. After opened sample file, I tried to create a new file using
File|New|New File. After the program created the file, it crashed again.
Then I tried check whether the file was corrupt by using File|Repair Money
File|Standard File Repair. The file has no problem. It seems Money can not
open a file even created by itself. What a shit. Shall I have to create my
own file by modifying the sample file. My god. I am wondering whether my
vendor gave me a wrong pack which included a beta version software.

I also encountered this problem!!!
I'm running win XP with sp1.

Can it open the sample file--go to the Program Files\Microsoft Money
directory using Windows Explorer and double click on Sample.MNY? If so,
suspect file corruption. If not, suspect a broken installation or system
conflicts.
