I have been using Quicken so long, that between, marraige, 2 kids( about to be three) and a host of accounts, I need to re=think how I track my categories anyway. So I may just get money and setup things like I want to, with the online transaction import I can run parallel with no probs. Although I use turbo tax, I never really imported quicken data, cou'dnt get it to work right. So I don't lose much by starting account in the middle of the year. For the accounts that matter, non-retirement investments, I can put in a years worth of transactions no problem.
