Keep in mind also that they probably want to sell remaining copies of 2003
for whatever reason. If they start publicizing 2004, then potentional
2003 buyers will hold off.

Perhaps the market size for a program like Money isn't big enough to warrant
expending lots of effort on new code - but they don't want potential new
coustomers to be put off by an expired "eat by date".

Exactly! I would think they'd be making quite a storm. Or at least giving
those of us who are interested some info. This is really weird and not at
all like MS...

Well, you got to admit, it kind of makes you wonder just how much faith
they have in it.

Default What's the deal w/ money 2004

I have never seen such a strange roll-out. Apparently, some people can buy
it at major retail stores and others can't. Microsoft website doesn't even
have a "We'll have it out before Christmas" page. It's almost like MS is
afraid of what 2004 will be and are releasing it in a way to keep it hush
hush. Does anyone have any idea why they're so quiet? And none of this
"because it'll be worse crap." I'd prefer somewhat informed or at least
non-grudge opinions
