| Are you trying to do the download from within Money? That is, did you set up Bank One in Money as an online account, and are you downloading by using the "connect to bank" button on the left of your account register? If you download directly from the Bank One website, it probably will choose a different format. |

Close Money In Internet Explorer delete your browser temporary files with Tools-> InternetOptions-> DeleteFiles. In IE6, make sure this is UNchecked: Tools-> InternetOptions-> DoNotSaveEncryptedPagesToDisk. Then open Money with Start-> Run and entering "msmoney -s" without the quotes into the box. Can you download now? If so, good. Stop. ------------- Still have the problem? Let's suppose this is an OFX file. Start-> Settings-> ControlPanel-> FolderOptions-> FileTypes Select OFX-- Open Financial Exchange File . Click Advanced. Check Confirm Open After Download unless you would not like the pop-up box. I think you would want the box; this will allow you to save the file where and under what name you choose. See that the "Actions" box contains "Open" in bold. If it is not bold, you can select Open as the default action by clicking the Set Default button. Click Edit. When you click edit, the application used to perform action should be the following line: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money\System\mnyimprt.exe" %1 WITH the quotes, and the %1 after the quote. The path will differ based on your installation. Modify for your setup. Application should be mnyimprt with the appropriate path. The easy way to fix this may be to reinstall Money. |

| We are trying to download transaction data directly from Bank One and the file is not being recognized by Money - i.e. the Bank One website states that the download is complete, but Money does not recognize it. Note that a file is being saved on our hard drive but we can't figure out how to read it. It is entitled mnyimprt.exe-(numerous numbers and letters follow). |
