| This should be a function of when you took out the new loan vs. when you paid off the old loan, not when you started to make payments on the new loan. And, yes, if these weren't the same date, your net worth did go up for a while. Given this, why would you want to fix it? At any rate, why would you want to fix it? It's just a graph on a piece of paper. | I followed the steps in the unofficial FAQ (http://www.bollar.org/msmoney/index.htm#Q86) to handle the refinance and everything works fine except for the fact that my "Net worth over time" report is inacurate for the month between when I closed the old mortgage account and when I started paiments on the new mortgage. Anybody has any suggestions on how to fix this? | I recently refinanced my mortgage and I successfully closed the original mortgage account in Money 2004 and transferred the balance to a new mortgage account. However, there is a 30 days period between the last payment on the old mortgage and the first payment on the new mortgage and it appears that Money interprets this situation as if I owned my house in full during those 30 days. As you can imagine, this skews the net worth report for the month before I started making mortgage paiments again. This is not catastrophic as the situation is back to normal now that I have resumed making payments, but I would like to know if there is any way to correct my net worth. Thanks -J |
