Buy from a retailer; MS give you 30 days to return for full credit.

Thanks, but Verizon, which only guarantees voice quality,
can't give me better than 28800 bps where I am. Same
modem got me 48000+ every time with BellSouth at my last
location. 17+MB [at] 28.8Kbps--best speed...downloads slow
down after starting that fast--will be too painful.

Looking at http://www.intuit.com/support/quicke...tes/index.html,
it would seem that version 10 would probably correspond to version
2001. If you do Help-> About does it perhaps give both designations?

Can't confirm it, but you might be able to. You could try and download the
trial version of 2004, and see whether that can convert it - if so, then the
purchased copy will.

Default Switching to Money 2004 Deluxe from Quicken Deluxe 2001

The Money package specifically excludes Quicken 2001 from
the list of Quicken Versions that Money 2004 will
successfully convert from. My experience is that if a
computer product doesn't say it can--it can't.

Can anyone please confirm or deny Money 2004's capability
to import Quicken 2001 files? I very much want to dump
Quicken and it's copy-protection Gestapo.

Thanks.
