| Exactly my experience, well defined. I seem to remember that this happens each year right before the new Money comes out. I sometimes think they hope to sell a few extra copies for those of us mouth-breathers that expect a new version will solve all our older-version Money with a new "fix" from the MS wonder drug called Money 2004. I may buy it but I'm not installing it until I get the ol' .NET connections working again - that includes my MSN Money BillPay link to MS Money 2003 that is broken right now - and I suspect that is due to the Passport . NET issue as well. | Roger, I just did a restore to before I installed the latest hotfixes. Still will not logon, so I don't believe it has anything to do with them. At least not in my case. Must be a Money Passport problem. It has happened several times before, seems it took a couple of days but eventually cleared itself up. I also can sign in to hotmail with no problems. | I am also experiencing the same problems. Does any one know whether MS servers are having some issues? | I have trouble signing into MS Money 2003 Deluxe using my .NET Passport password. I receive the message, "The sign-in attempt for <my account name> [at]hotmail.com was unsuccessful. Please try your sign-in name and password again." I know that I am using the correct password because I am able to sign in to MSN Messenger using the same sign-in name (my hotmail account name) and password. Also, I checked to see if the Passport server might be down, but the MS website does not list it as being down when I attempt to sign in. In addition, even if the Passport server were down (but not listed), this wouldn't explain why I am not able to successfully sign in to Money when I already just signed in successfully to Messenger using the same id and password. Still more perplexing is that I have been using Money's Passport feature for almost a year, but this problem just recently took place. What is going on, and what needs to be done? |
