| I don't think I understood your original post or assumed that when you wrote "when balancing i want to mark all the cleared items as reconciled" you meant "when balancing I want to mark all of the statement cleared items as cleared in Money" since I had no clue what marking cleared items as reconciled **during** balancing meant since I see no reason why you'd want to mark something reconciled while balancing--balancing marks cleared items as "reconciled" all by itself once you have "reconciled" your beginning balance, cleared transactions, and cleared balance with the statement ending balance. It sounds like your issues are more fundamental, but, having read the other branch of the thread, I'm still not sure what all they are. You are downloading transaction data and transactions are getting marked as reconciled when downloading and/or your balance fails to complete for some reason and/or when it fails to complete some transactions are erroneously marked. Since I just say not to downloaded transaction data, I'm really pretty useless at answering any question involving downloaded transaction data. Good luck. | Where? In the balancing window in my Money 2003, the space bar toggles the "Cleared" status of a transaction, it doesn't affect whether or not it's reconciled. (If you're tempted to wonder why one might do this, please see my other post today.) Also, in that window, Money 2003 doesn't allow you to distinguish among accepted, unreconciled transactions (i.e., cleared or not) in sorting or selecting. Since the space bar toggles the status, holding it down will also mark transactions as cleared that haven't, unless you're real careful with your auro-repeat!! - quote - > -----Original Message----- > Select the first item, press the space bar, repeat. | When I wrote "repeat" I meant just the spacebar part, BTW. It will auto-select the next transaction. | Select the first item, press the space bar, repeat. You can even hold the space bar down and let it auto-repeat. I'm betting that you can mark a hundred or so transactions a minute this way.
