| Well, .CSV is not supported for import as near as anyone can tell. All that is supported in OFC/OFX and QIF. .CSV can be converted to QIF with some third party tools. See http://www.bollar.org/msmoney/#Q8. | OK, you got me there (& thanks for the prompt reply!). I entered "excel csv" into the "ask money" text box. That brought-up the directions for importing a file. I've tried bringing in an Excel spreadsheet with the same results. I don't even get a message like format not recognized. I certainly didn't get a chance to select the account. - quote - > -----Original Message----- > Where is Money documented as accepting a .CSV for import??? > "Alec" <anonymous[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:095401c3b5b7$f7bb0f60$a301280a[at]phx.gbl... > > Hello, > > I downloaded an Excel csv statement from E*Trade for an > > investment account. | Hello, I downloaded an Excel csv statement from E*Trade for an investment account. I tried to import it into MSM 2004 Deluxe, and nothing happens (help documentation indicates I should have the opportunity to select account). |
