| when adding a new DLL, you might need to register that DLL using regsvr32 - I have no idea whether this will help you at all though, as the process may be a bit more complex than that. -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money Check http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny for UK tips and fixes for MS Money. | I was able to restore the OFX.DLL from before my re- install. I copied it to the SYSTEM folder for Money, but still get the same "Launch" screen. How can I tell money that the OFX.DLL is already updated? - quote - > -----Original Message----- > You can try to find the file elsewhere on the internet or > upgrade to a newer version as this file is no longer > available from Microsoft. > > -----Original Message----- > > I had to reinstall the Money 98 software on my computer. > I > > received the software a few years ago when I opened an > > account at my bank. | I had to reinstall the Money 98 software on my computer. I received the software a few years ago when I opened an account at my bank. I have used the on-line banking features (statements only) with out any problems. After reinstalling, I tried to do the on-line banking. Money tries to lead me thru some set up steps and apparently tries to connect to microsoft/money/ofx/default.asp for some sort of download - I assume to update the OFX.DLL The webpage no longer exists and I've looked on the web to no avail. Every time I press the "Connect" button on the bottom of the On-line screen, it tries to launch this web page and of course, fails every time. Any ideas? Thanks, Al |
