Default Re: Price History

Two (and a half) different questions/issues:
1. How do I get the Price History chart to show more than the current year?
That's the question I answered.

2. Why don't my stock quotes get automatically updated? This may be due to
interference from some other software (Zone Alarm, etc) or it may be due to
specific symbols in your Money data file (for example: ADRs - try removing
the symbols from any security that is an ADR specifically those that are
five characters long and end in a Y).
2a. Why don't quotes get automatically updated more than a year ago?
Automatic updates only get updates from the last 6 months. So, if you want
older price history you will have to manually enter them in the Price
History.

Not using MSN.com or Passport. Stand-alone money with
connection to internet for current day stock price update.
------- ok...how does the stock price get updated in the new
price history? Tried update quotes but still no new
items in the new price history. Even tried 'all dates'
but still no pre-2003 amounts. Then tried 'previous
year' date and chart is blank. there is nothing in any
tab under tools/options.
----my original advice to Dave is------------
the only way to update prices in previous year is search
for stock prices and manually insert in update prices.

Default Price History

How come the price history only goes back a year or so. Why can't it go
back to the first entry? I mean, it is a computer.
