Hi Scott

Wish you luck with it, but I have found in the past that if there was
anything I could not afford to lose, I would not use a Packet Writing
software such as Direct Cd, because I would eventually lose it.

Dick knows what he is talking about, and if you don't want to follow his
advise, at least keep another backup on floppy or your hard
drive.....................and believe me, you will one day need it.

Many others, myself included, cannot say the same. But if you trust it with
your Money backups, more power to you.

DirectCD is precisely the difference. And if you trust your Money data
backups to DirectCD, you are a brave soul.

Money 2004
Windows XP

Don't know why my set up would be any different than anyone else, but my
Money file is set up to back up to my CDRW drive. I just browsed to the
drive I wanted to back up to. It backs up daily to the CDRW and every 5th
day to a 64MB CF card in a card reader. The CDRW disk was formatted using
DirectCD. Maybe that's the difference

You can back up to a hard disk, and then burn that .mbf file onto
your CDR with the software that came with your drive.

With Windows XP, you can back up to the "hard disk" that
corresponds to your CD/R drive. Browse to the drive from "My
Computer". That will put the file onto a staging area on your hard
drive. Consider modifying the backup file name to incorporate the
date.

Backup your Money file to your hard disk, then burn that file to the CD.

Default Backing up files to a RW CD

I would like to back my Money files to the CD burner E
drive rather than the Floppy A drive.

The only options it offers is the A drive for the floppy
and a F drive that I don't have.

Can you tell me how to do this?
Thanks
