| Correct. At one point I went to the effort to set my computer date back before I set up a budget. That's a pain, but it works. -- Chris Cowles, Gainesville, FL "pds" <pds[at]uberhacker.org> wrote in message news:033001c34a59$cc88ad80$a601280a[at]phx.gbl... - quote - > So in effect, my budget is useless/not meaningful until > the next calendar month after I create it? |

| If you look at next months' budget, you should see that they are properly counted in the budget. Because this month is already happening, and there was no budget set at the start of the month, Money doesn't use these figures until the next budget period. -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money Check http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny for UK tips and fixes for MS Money. | Hello, I'm trying out the Money 2003 Deluxe web trial edition, and am seeing some weird (to me) behavior. I have some automatic Bills & Deposits scheduled. When I am in the Create a Budget flow, these items are pre-filled for me automatically (they have an icon by them that has a red arrow pointing up over a "fallen down" [. Under that it shows Bills : Electricity [other] and a Subtotal. This all looks fine. However, when I finish creating the budget and am at the review screen, all of those categories show up as over budget...with the amounts that showed up earlier in the "Actual", but 0.00 for "Budget". When I try to add those amounts in the [other] category, the review screen is fixed, but the budget itself is double-counted and it doesn't balance. What am I doing wrong? |
