And I suppose that means that your Money v. 3 is 935 years old in human age.

1. A really neat way to find prior postings in this group is to use
the Google Usenet Groups archive.

http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search enter words that you
think would be in relevant posts into the "all of the words" box.
Enter microsoft.public.money into the newsgroup box. Consider
selecting Sort By Date.

2. Consider keeping your saga to the same thread.

We humans live to be 85 or 90. Money versions live to be 1.

Default the code ALC<402c> appearing in balancing money 3.0

Posted yesterday and it was suggested I update the
program. I don't want to do that unless I absolutely
have to. Problem again. The above code appeared in the
service charge/interest earned boxes in the when
balalncing. I deleted them, put in the interest earned
and proceeded with balancing. Had to postpone. When I
went in again the caode was back only greyed out in the
box where I had entered an amount. It won't let me in
and will not let me proceed with balancing because of
an "invalid number" Any suggestions besides buying the
update. To those of us over 70 something 4 years old
doesn't seem obsolete.
