| Scad... You will save yourself much grief, time and effort by upgrading to Quicken 2004. What features does Money have that Quicken does not? None. The products are so evenly matched that conversion efforts seem pointless. If you were starting from scratch then making a choice would not involve the workload you are attempting. Good luck... | I am trying to switch from quicken 2002 to money 2004 and having problems converting my quicken DB. Every time I try to convert it is giving me the following message: "Your Quicken file could not be converted. Money could not convert your Quicken file. You might have run out of disk space or system memory. Try closing other programs and making sure the disk you are copying your file to has enough space. Then try converting the file again." It is not even remotley possible that I have run out of disk space or system memory....believe me. So far here is what I have done: 1. Copied the quicken db. 2. Validated the quicken db 3. Super Validated the quicken db 4. Deleted all memorized transactions in the quicken db. 5. Delete extra budgets (I had two, I deleted one). I would delete the other budget, but I can't find a way to delete the only budget I have left in quicken. 6. Deleted all scheduled transactions. In addition, I tried to abandon the auto convert feature and just tried to export and import and I just couldn't get quicken to export what I needed. Has anyone had a problem with the above error message? Does anyone know how to fix it. Thanks. |
