| I take it from your question that you are using some packet writing technology like DirectCD. You might check into the reliability of these technologies before using it for backup of an important file like your Money data. You might also consider being sure that your backup has a backup. <anonymous[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:094701c3957e$910f41e0$a101280a[at]phx.gbl... - quote - > When I back up my Money file (2.1 MB) on a 700 MB > CD (by overwriting, of course) it uses up an > additional 16 MBs., even though I only add one of > two extra transactions. | When I back up my Money file (2.1 MB) on a 700 MB CD (by overwriting, of course) it uses up an additional 16 MBs., even though I only add one of two extra transactions. This does not occur backing up other files. It is no big problem, as the CDs are not expensive, but I'm curious as to the reason for this. Any answers? |
