Do File-> Restore, but do NOT restore to the default location.> deleting the Payee name for several checks within a specific account . > I do have a backup .MBF file that is dated 14th Oct. > How do I go about viewing the contents of that backed up data, w/o > destroying other areas that are still valid ? Restore to a new filename by browsing to a location and selecting a unique filename. You can go back to the original file by File and selecting the original file from the list at the bottom of the drop-down box. Perhaps to make sure you don't make a make a mistake you might make an extra copy of your .mny file first. |

| Yesterday, 16th Oct, while working on my Files, I made the mistake of deleting the Payee name for several checks within a specific account . I do have a backup .MBF file that is dated 14th Oct. How do I go about viewing the contents of that backed up data, w/o destroying other areas that are still valid ? Thanks, de ~ Vince ~ Long Island, NY |
