Scratch this answer. Go with Cal's. My bad not recognizing the MBF vs. MNY.

Do File-> Restore, but do NOT restore to the default location.
Restore to a new filename by browsing to a location and selecting a
unique filename.

You can go back to the original file by File and selecting the
original file from the list at the bottom of the drop-down box.

Perhaps to make sure you don't make a make a mistake you might make
an extra copy of your .mny file first.

Default Viewing a .MBF File from MNY03 Delux

Yesterday, 16th Oct, while working on my Files, I made the mistake of
deleting the Payee name for several checks within a specific account .
I do have a backup .MBF file that is dated 14th Oct.

How do I go about viewing the contents of that backed up data, w/o
destroying other areas that are still valid ?

Thanks,
